Pros: price
Cons: problems with extended memory, crashes, not refine
The Bottom Line: It is a good for the price, but you get what you pay for. Everything on it is useable, but nothing that will open your eyes.

| fmock's Full Review: Compaq Presario 1700-XL275 |
The Compaq Presario is only good for consumers who want to save money. This is not a reliable laptop because it crashes once in a while. When you upgrade the memory, it either black screens on you, doesn't boot up, or slows down your boot up time. It took about three times longer to bootup when I added 64 more MB of memory. What's up with that? Another problem is that the screen would blur a little at the corners. I don't know why it does that. The last thing that is wrong is that it just doesn't feel or look refine.
