I have had horrible problems with other service providers both of which have merged into one (the largest and worst) company I first got Cingular, the only service in the small podunk town from which I came (moved thank god) which is also about the only town in America that it didn't even have service in! after I moves I got fantastic reception but the phone (Nokia 5125) was big ugly and kept loosing it's battery, and even though voice mail was included it quite bluntly informed me that it wasn't available.
I then made my way to a att store got a chincy little gsm Nokia 3590 that got no signal at all after a week I canceled the service and tried to return the $35 phone at which they so rudely said "your stuck with it!" then I got a Moto V60i with cingular, a pretty phone with an expensive blue cover, it didn't get a signal at home and It took 4 months to figure out the friggen voice mail, these problems were mostly the phones fault.
Bout' time Sprint came in a week ago, my friend informed me of this showing off her new phone and explaining the very understandable and practical fair and flexible plane. Three days later I walk in to a Radio Shack and got 300 min' for $35 (the no roaming deal bumped it up to $40) I hate flip phones so I got the free Nokia 6016i (a nice little phone modeled after a higher end Nokia) the people there were very informative and respectful and I get great service even outside of were the service area is suppose to end.
