Great game if this if your first shooter. Easy to learn, good for getting into a quick 15 minute game. Just as good for long game also. Great different types of games: Plain old Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Assault, etc. CTF and Assault are especially great fun. Not a good game for those who think video game violence is out of control. The gore isn't that bad, but people do get blown into little chunks. It can be a little intimidating finding a game, and getting the hang of it, but it's pretty easy to catch on, and soon you'll be fragging with the best of them. There are tons of great sites and mods out there that have great info if you're looking for something new to do with the game. Finally, the better computer system you have, the better the graphics will be. Definitely, you should crank up everything to the highest settings your computer can handle. And a fast net connection like DSL or cable doesn't hurt either.
