Hi, I ordered and paid for an item (Polar watch 520i for $213.99 USF) online at Jomashop on Nov. 24th 2004.
Jomashop gave me a tracking no. with USPS no. the order no.EC#104 971 573 US and confirmed the item was shipped on Dec. 1st 2004.
It is only at the beginning of the week that I checked with USPS to find out the item had been delivered on Dec. 2nd in N.York and accepted by someone named Poli (?).
I called the seller to confirmed the USPS reference no. and one of their representatives name Brenda. I spoke to her tuesday, wednesday, thursday and yesterday without any result.
I had to call them back eventhough they were to call me with information on the delivery.
I doubled check with USPS yesterday and they confirmed the delivery on Dec. 2d 2004.
I called Jomashop and asked Brenda to let me talk to her supervisor.
I spoke to Mike . He told me that I was to file a claim to USPS. I answered that a representative at USPS confirmed that the insurance claim had to be filed by the seller in the USA. I told Mike that I was expecting them to replace the order ASAP or they should reimburse me since they had been paid for the item and that I should not be waiting until they colect from USPS insurance protection (30days?). I told him that their company was posting a totally different message regarding customer service and protection . Information on which I relied before dealing with their company.
He told me I would have to pay again to replace the order or wait for the settelement with the shipping insurance before hanging up on me.
I know it is a busy season for their business but I put the order a month ago to avoid delivery problems before christmas.
I do not appreciate Jomashop using your Yahoo or any other company's name to let the public beleive they are a responsible company taking care of their customers.
I was left alone with my problem and I beleive I am a victim of a scam.
