I had no idea this was coming out. I loved Smashing Pumpkins as well as Zwan so I'm gonna have to check this out.

I am going to have to listen to this....I love it when rock musicians toy with jazz forms and long jams. This is one I will have to pick up, and thanks very very much for reviewing it. Fabulous as always!
cheers

That Chamberlin started out as a jazz drummer before Corgan Svengalied him, so I'm not surprised at the sound of this project. 'Tis interesting...(:

James Iha has a lovely little album called Let It Come Down. Pretty, sunshine pop-rock that takes full advantage of his pretty, sunshine pop-rock voice. Just FYI.
I honestly never really got into Zwan. A lot of people did. Maybe some day I'll pick up the album :)
Thanks for the comment.

Hmmm.... (Reply to this comment)

...I have been pretty skeptical about anything that any former member of the Smashing Pumpkins makes these days. So far, it has not been all that rosy (Zwan just fell apart after one "album"). This compilation sounds interesting though. I will keep my eyes out for this one.
Great review as always.
