The Bottom Line: If you are willing the pay the price and want to suck up everything in your carpets, then this is your vacuum, and it has good looks too.

| rscanady's Full Review: Dyson DC07 HEPA Upright Vacuum |
This was also reviewed by my wife, Julesjis. She does not like this vacuum as much as I do, so here is my review.
The most outstanding thing on this vacuum by far is the suction. After you vacuum you will see things in the dirt canister that you never saw before in your other vacuums. With a new son, dog, cat, and wife who all shed (me too sometimes!) this thing gets it all.
The dirt collection canister is very ease to use and empty and without getting dust all over the place like our old vacuum did.
The construction of the vacuum seems very solid, it is composed of something they call "liquid plastic" and seems very durable. If this vacuum last 5-10 years then I will be very happy.
Another thing that I like is that it has little side sweep finger brushes that sort of pull things into the vacuum as you vacuum along a wall, I always hated that on our old vacuum after going along a wall and missing the things right next to the wall.
Attachments-this is where my wife and I differ on opinions. This vacuum comes with the usual array of attachments plus a rotating brush thingy which I think works very well for removing pet hair from our blankets and comforters, at least better than the plain old vacuum alone. Granted the suction of this thing can make using the hose a little awkward at first, for me it is not a problem now that I know how it works. I love the long hose on it, this allows me to clean the 13 stairs I have without dragging the vacuum behind me up the stairs.
The cord is also very long, this allows me to vacuum my entire upstairs (~800sqft) without changing plugs which is nice.
Overall this is an expensive vacuum but if it lasts at least 5 years and you want to get everything out of the carpets it is worth the purchase in my opinion. Plus it just looks cool!
