The really nice deal that I found on the internet they were "out of". I'm not sure that this wasn't bait and switch. They still had a good deal on the camera that I wanted. After I placed my order, a salesperson called me about an hour later. The website encourages that you give them a phone number to avoid delivery delays, but I suspect other reasons: The salesperson said he noticed that I hadn't ordered a memory card with my digital camera. I was planning on picking one up locally, but he sold me one over the phone. I had been hoping to keep costs on the credit card down, but he was good. Then he proceeded to sell me a set of lens filters for $99 that he convinced me that I desperately needed. A warranty was a must too for $299. I turned him down on that. Then at the last minute, he said that there was a "flag" on his screen and "Merry Christmas" he was going to let me have the warranty for $99... SOLD!! I'm not saying that this is all bad. I'm not sure about the lens filters, but I did need the memory and a warranty is always good for electronics. Just be prepared to get the call and hold out on some things and see if the price doesn't come down. You could always call back and order it later. They were very nice, just excellent salesmen. Since one local place literally laughed at me when I asked for a better deal, and dell.com literally hung up on me when I told the guy I would call back because I didn't have my credit card handy. My experience with Butterfly.com is SO FAR a good one. I haven't received my camera yet, but we have had ice and snow storms and FedEx hasn't gotten it to me yet. Will update as needed.
