I enjoy playing the games on Pogo.com ... especially since they are quality games, fun and free. There are a lot of games to choose from, too. The only drawback is that the games are interrupted by brief advertisements, but I could live with ...Return to opinion

I joined Club Pogo to fill in frustrating moments between projects.... One big problem is that it isn't $29.95. My subscription expired and it is now $39.95. And I wanted to get my daughter a subscription and it's $49.95. I thought she might like BINGO once in awhile, but when I think of the other gifts she could get for $50, it's not worth it.
The other thing is that they have a number of add ons, all of which cost. It's fun to play the games. They do have a real variety and at least for me it is almost impossible to play the free games with ads blasting in your face. But I am feeling the cost has gone beyond the benefit.

Hi! I enjoy Word Whomp and Pogo Bowl, too ... among others. Have you tried the new game Word Craft? Get into the upper levels of the game, and it's challenging!

I'm not a member of Club Pogo, but I've been a general member for several years.
I like the games very much. My favorites include Popit, Word Whomp, Sweet Tooth, Stack em' and Pogo Bowl. :oD

Hi! I haven't run into any problems playing at pogo.com. I enjoy the games and have met some nice people. For a year's worth of entertainment, I consider it a good value. They've added more new games, too.
I think the odds of winning a prize are slim, but it's fun to think it might happen. I have met people online who have won prizes, so I know the possibility exists.
As with any online venue that offers chat rooms and the opportunity to share personal information, there is always the chance of having someone harass you. Pogo.com does offer the ability to "block" user names so that the person cannot send you messages. You can also turn off the chat feature if someone is being annoying. If you are worried about contact outside of pogo, do not make your e-mail address available in your profile.
Club Pogo offers a variety of game entertainment. That's why I belong ... to have fun.

Before you plunk down that $29.99 you should probably think about the negative aspects of Club Pogo. What negatives you say? Well, to start you better not be really good at any of the games because if you are thats evidence of running autos and can get your account banned. Yes it has happened to a bunch of folks. I have not run across one person who has won a prize and collected it. The only people I have found are folks who won and their account was banned for running autos when they didn't. Club Pogo offers no protection for stalkers, harassment or any other in game abuse. If you have a situation there is no customer support except the ask a question section of your account and if you put up to much of a fuss over the situation you may be banned for running autos there too. Yes, Club Pogo reserves the right to BLOCK ANY ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON and running autos seems to be their pet reason for the blocking. Even if you have not run autos or violated their Terms of Service in any way you could find your account blocked with no refund or not even a partial refund of that $29.99 you paid to enjoy yourself.

I absolutely love Pogo. I tend to hide there when I am not writing here...lol. I spend many sleepless nights up playing at pogo..lol. I am going to have to sit down and write a review of Pogo, when I am not busy playing...heheh. It is so very addictive. You can find me somewhere between Canasta, Keno, Pool, and Poker...lol.

An excellent review of Pogo.com. There were things here you covered that I would have never thought about writing.
I had been a member of Club Pogo, but my membership has since expired. If it weren't for me having to go back to college, I'd probably be playing there more often, working on badges!
You say the most tokens you've won at one time was 5,000? You can do better! :) I've hit 200,000 once....but that was in Keno, and only once. :) Then again, I have played over 13,000 keno games too.....maybe that's where all that wasted time goes. Hmm.

I haven't had any problems with the games. I'm using Windows XP and a fast computer. I have played the games using Microsoft Explorer, Netscape and Mozilla Firefox browsers. Pogo works fine in all of them.

addicted to pogo, when i get online that is lol! I do find that their help leaves a lot to be desired, hard to search for and find the answers I need for problems, and I have yet to be able to load several games, even after doing everything they recommend. Oh well, I still love the site and agree that it is a great place to play games.
