you have it bad.
My husband and I have different last names and four phone numbers in our house. Can you imagine getting 8 of the same annoying phone calls? The best part is our phone numbers are all the same except for the last two digits - which are sequential.
We love to make it a game and yell at the idiots who call us time after time after time. Hey as a social researcher I understand all about a random dialer and how they may have no control, but please for god's sake use a brain and see that you already called that same name four other times that evening. DUH!!!

It's a bizarre comment on how elusive privacy has become that I would gladly pay ten bucks to minimize the disruption and annoyance caused by unsolicited sales efforts.
