I know, it's really strange though, because at the time they always feel so fresh, challenging and superb. In fairness, I can still play 2003 without being all that critical, I really think they were on a winner with that release, then there was 2004, which was just mediocre from day one.

Cheers for the comments

this first came out, I thought it was really good, but then again I had nothing to compare it to at the time. I played it again last year, and it felt like a joke. FIFA games just don't age well.

The winning eleven games go by a different title over here, so Im not sure which series entry 7 is for me, but for their time, Pro Evolution soccer 2 3(what winning 11 is known as here) are awesome, and I still play 2 today, 4 is pretty cool as well, but it doesn't really add much other that graphical improvements.

I haven't been able to get into a soccer game since the original Fifa soccer for Genesis. Though Winning Eleven 7 looked like a pretty sweet game.
