Their website was educational and helped me select exactly what I needed for the type of system I have. I bought a 160GB hard drive (to augment the 40GB drive in the TiVo series 2 I received for Christmas) and was very pleased
with how quickly the package arrived (the day after I ordered -- not too bad for free shipping!), the quality of the contents and the clarity of the instructions. I made a couple of mistakes upgrading my box but they weren't
fatal. (I originally put the master drive on the bracket backwards, which was easily remedied, and I only used one spacer for each of the screws which bolt the bracket to the chassis, which was also easy to remedy). It's all
back together and working like a charm, with up to 100+ hours of record time at high quality. Yum! I was especially impressed with how professional-looking the installation looked once I was finished with it; if I hadn't known what the device looked like before, I would have assumed that this is the way it came from the factory. It looks clean! I am sure that it wouldn't have looked
this nice or been this easy if I had gone the "do-it-myself-from-scratch" route. Five stars.
