Pros:Cheap, easy to use, and makes GREAT tasting iced tea.
Cons:Needs a LOT of ice.
The Bottom Line: I love it, I love it, I love it!! If you love iced tea, get this machine!

Okay. I've been a fan of Mr. Coffee iced tea makers since my mother bought one back in 1994. I was 16 then, and I think I used it more than she did!!

Well, fast forward a few years, and I was buying my own Iced Tea Pot at the age of 22. I brewed MANY MANY pitchers of tea until it broke last year, after 2 years of excellent service. Time went on, and because of my tight pocketbook, I resorted back to the old "boil on the stove" method for iced tea making. YUCK! After years of being spoiled to the Iced Tea Pot, it was a hard switch back!! So, this year, when everyone asked what I wanted for Christmas I screamed "ICED TEA MAKER!!! ICED TEA MAKER!!!" Thank goodness my hubby was listening, because on Christmas day, I found the new and improved "Iced Tea Maker" from Mr. Coffee under the tree!!

Improvements made to the Iced Tea Maker since I owned one:

1. Pitchers are now 3 quarts instead of 2 quarts. This is an AWESOME change, as it hold a lot more tea!!

2. A new water filtration device. This really does make the tea taste better. I was skeptical, but a believer after I tried it.

3. All in one compact design. My last Iced Tea Pot had too many removable parts. This model is made like a Coffee maker is made.

4. An extra 3 quart pitcher comes in the box!!! I LOVE that.

The nitty gritty:

This system was easy to set up, and really didn't require reading instructions. Anyone familiar with the average coffee maker, could figure this machine out. I was thrilled with how quickly and easily it made the iced tea, and how good the iced tea really was. It tasted MUCH better than stove boiled iced tea.

My biggest complaint:

This machine is a great machine, but it requires a lot of ice to make a pitcher of tea. If you do not have an automatic ice machine, then this product is probably not for you, because it takes a LOT of ice cubes.
