A Balancing Act You Can Achieve!

The Bottom Line If you find the right job, and a good balance between work and school, you will feel very good about yourself.

If you can and have the time to do so, then do so. If your needs are greater and you find that you have to, then you really need to.

Every dollar counts. With no dollars, your not going to be able to achieve what you need, including piece of mind. School is can cost a lot, and then there are the extras, and then there are the extra extras that you want or will need through the course of attending school. If your parents can help out, not only helping in funding college or any other type of school, maybe with personal needs, this will help. But where does that get you when there are the other needs.

You will get some time on certain days or nights where you just got to get out. A night on the town or a simple movie. Just enough space to differ the working school life and the other. Some freedom from it all. We all need this.

This is where your part time job will help. Say you just want to get out twice a month when your schedule allows you to, and you are simply happy for a walk through the mall. Maybe to dine out, or hang with some friends. You will need the extra funds for this.

Just make sure that if you set out for the part time job, while studying and taking your courses, that you don't over stretch your time. It can cause great damage to your tests and scores. If your routine is intact and you feel confident that you can just do this, make sure you plan it into the routine. Try for a job that is close by, in walking distance or driving distance. Try to find a job that is going to pay what you feel is exceptable to you, and won't take all your strength mentally or physically. You certainly don't want to drain yourself working and not being up to par for school.

Other great gifts of an outside part time job, is the friends you will meet. These will be others outside of your school life, which can offer a different balance in your life.
