Perhaps you misunderstood the opinion expressed here. Powered 4 port USB hubs are a commodity item. There is no difference in performance between various vendor brands. At $39, this USB hub is WAY overpriced. Since writing that generic 4 port USB hubs can be found for $12 to $15, I have seen them going for $9. The only difference between the $9 hub and the $36 hub is the exact shape of the plastic casing surrounding the USB ports. There is no reason to buy this device.

I'm sorry to give you only a Helpful rating. But at the same time, I almost feel like Helpful is a generous rating since you did not review the product at all. Maybe I was unduly influenced by all those other higher ratings.
I really am interested in the pros and cons of THIS PRODUCT, so if you edit this review to include ANY information other than the price, please let me know and I will gladly re-rate it.
