COMP ME!Jun 18 '01 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line These guys have tons of free stuff for you, if you know what to ask for! Allow them to be generous is my idea! I just returned from a 2 week stay in Las Vegas, and it was pretty free! First, I gathered up all my free comps and headed out! I stayed at the New York, New York, in a room with a jacuzzi the size of my home hot tub, BIG! The jacuzzi was right next to my king size bed! There was a sofa, a big relaxing chair, plus a chaise lounge. There was a table and chairs, plus a desk. The bathroom was huge, with a glassed in shower, plus a tub. With the giant t.v. in the fancy armoire that held all my clothes (BIG), I figured it was the wrong room! I really did! After all, it WAS free! I stayed one week here, and ended up paying $2. for a tip I'd written on a tag! All my food, shows, everything ended up being comped! Yea, for free!!!! Also, was I feeling like I was stylin' when I asked my 'host' the easiest way to get to the Bally's, where I was comped for another week's stay. My host, Sue, told me to just go outside, and she'd see to my free transportation. However, when I got out there, all I could see was this stretch, golden shiny, limo! So, I waited a while for MY 'shuttle' that I expected. NOPE! That limo was for me! (FREE!) I got to the Bally's Hotel & Casino feeling pretty pampered, to say the least! I had my comp invitation, and I even got to be on a game show! The game show was really fun! I had been having such a great time, that I was high on sunshine! My name was the first name called out, to be the first contestant for the show! Merrily, feeling like I was Alice and had just fallen down the rabbit hole, anyway, I had the best time, ever! I played (name that tune) for 9 people in the audience, plus for myself. I won a bit of money for all of us! Mainly, though, I just was having so much fun that I was about to burst! I stayed a week, in a fantastic room, meals all paid for, shows paid for, and had a grand time! I am not a big gambler, and I have no idea why I am on the VIP list in Las Vegas, but, I sure did enjoy myself! At Bally's, I was given $84. in cash, as I checked out, because I had earned enough points using that little card that must be inserted into the slot machines to earn points. I feel as though I was paid to have the best time! If you go, using comps, be sure that you question your bill. ASK why you didn't get free meals, if you didn't! This is no place to be shy! Walk right up and tell your host that you would like to see a particular show, and would appreciate tickets! Hey! If I can do it, so can you! Just be friendly, smiling, and act as though you expect it! I was told that I may return, on comp, anytime I wish, by just contacting my host. Cool! Just to let you know how free my trip ended up being: When I went to my airport to leave for Las Vegas, my plane had not come in, and I was to be put on another plane that was 55 minutes later. I, feeling brave, simply explained that had I changed my departure time, it would have cost me $75 to $100, and I was prepared to accept my free airfare for that amount from them! I got it, too! I got the $100 free airfare with United Airlines! Did I enjoy my adventures in Las Vegas? YEAH! Knowing that your food is free, your shows are free, your room is free, is a great way to spend a vacation! Save those offers that come in the mail, as I did, and speak right up! Be sure you smile and make the most of every deal out there! I did! You can, too! ''  |
