I had purchased an expensive iron fron HSN along with the 2 year extended warranty. It went out on me after 2-3 months of use. I called customer service, they told me to contact the manufacturer and I did. The manufacturer wanted all the paperwork on the iron and I supplied it with amounts, dates and warranty. I never heard back and I contacted HSN again. They told me to contact the manufacturer again to see what had happened, well I already had before I called HSN back. To make a long story short, HSN did NOTHING to help me then. Well I finally got in touch with the manufacturer, returned the iron to them and they sent me a much cheaper/less quality iron than I originally purchased You could purchase one like it at the dollar store. Don't ever except them to do a thing if "things" go wrong with a purchase because the customer service at HSN are hateful and rude and have cut me off at times. You be the judge. That just happened to be a very expensive extended warranty after all, when all I got back was junk. The replacement iron didn't work a week. That has been over a year now and nothing has been done.
