Pros: Eco-friendly, very pleasant smell, natural ingredients, works well for light day to day cleaning.
Cons: Can't handle heavy soiling or grease.
The Bottom Line: Great for regular cleaning, but for heavy soiling, Method all-purpose cleaner had to be used first. Vinegar or Windex would work just as well but doesn't smell as good.

| majcmortenson's Full Review: Method Blue Sky, Streak Free Glass Cleaner, Aroma:... |
I bought a bunch of Method products from my local Target Store to clean my new, and very, very, dirty and smelly house. I was attracted by the no-nonsense packaging and the variety of nice, clean scents - as well as the eco-friendly and animal-friendly claims of the company. I have tried eco-friendly products in the past and been disappointed - but I figured if it didn't work, i'd take the rest of the Method products back to Target and exchange them for the power-houses of cleaning products (Mr. Clean, Clorox, Fantastic, Windex, etc).
Method Blue Sky Streak Free Glass Cleaner with mint aroma is sold in a 28floz clear plastic spray bottle with simple and concise labelling. It claims to work on all smooth surfaces and to be "naturally derived, non-hazardous, and biodegradable" it's contents are very clearly labelled as deionized water, nonionic surfactants, ammonia, solvent and fragrance (mint with chamomile oils), as well as a small "thank-you for recycling" reminder. No-where on this bottle does it claim to be tested without cruelty to animals - the labelling has since changed and I do believe that claim is on the new labels.
I tested the cleaner out on both the interior and exterior of my windows and it will indeed, under normal circumstances, clean without leaving streaks, but I don't think they had the kind of filth my house contained when I bought it, in mind when they made this glass cleaner. For the first cleaning I had to use a Method All-Purpose Cleaner first, then the Method Streak-Free Glass Cleaner to finish the job. Ditto on my glass stove top which I have to clean daily, I either have to use the Method All-Purpose Cleaner first and then the Method Glass Cleaner, or just use straight vinegar...or Windex!! I opted for vinegar which leaves a beautiful streak free shine on my stove top - but also a strong vinegar smell. I was a little disappointed that the Method Blue Sky Glass Cleaner could not handle the whole job.
I do use the Method Blue Sky Glass Cleaner on my vanity mirrors, car windows and screen and patio doors regularly and am pleased with the results. I debated for a while whether it was worth the $2.99 for a bottle of Method Glass Cleaner or $1.89 for a bottle of Great Value white vinegar, but the smell of the Method tips the scales, do I want my bathrooms to smell of vinegar or mint? mint please!!
Now, about those fingerprints and doggy nose prints on the car windows........
