BEWARE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! Read whole review for details!
To anyone that reads this BE WARNED DO NOT buy from this company!!! This was a 3 week quote to delivery on this item and it took over 9 weeks to get it. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift I ordered Dec.2 after being told that if I ordered by Dec 8th it would arrive by Christmas but the company didn't even send it to the vendor to be made till Dec. 15th.
After 4 weeks I spent several times a week trying to find out where my product was each time faced a 20-25 minute hold time(a few times only a message saying over 45 minute hold times and to call back and then disconnected) before I could ever get a human being. No one could ever tell me anything, except the fact that they haven't heard from the vendor and had no way to contact them(uh hello what kind of vendor are they dealing with that doesn't allow contact info to be known by them, and also they had some kind of contact info or else how did they send off the order to them).
FINALLY after 8 weeks and after speaking to supervisor after supervisor(got tired of the regular snotty rude acting customer service people not knowing even though supervisors didn't know much more)I was connected with someone in the drop ship department who while on the phone one day says hold on let me call the vendor and check(Uh-ok I thought they had no contact info on the vendor--hummm-another lie) he came back and told me that they would start the order and ship it next week. Ok did he say start the order yes he did-after 8 weeks(now remember this is supposed to already be to me by 3 weeks and it is 8 weeks and just now being started) and said he would give me 20% off (minor money compared to the 8 weeks of H*ll I have went through and having not had one of the most important Christmas gifts I purchased this year not showing up) , well end of next week still a no show so I call and was told that the person in drop shipping had canceled the order and he wasn't there to speak to me. I call the next day and he denies that(even though the person said it was documented in the computer records-each step of what had happened with my order) ok-yet another lie and delay. So he puts me on hold and says he will call the vendor (humm there they are with contact info again-thought they didn't have it) and comes back to the phone and says the vendor said it was shipped on Friday, and that he would give me 50% now instead of 20% since I am still having to wait.
Ok by Wed. I check my checking info(had paid with my debit card)and saw they had charged me the whole price instead of the 50% as promised which of course caused me a over draft fee of $25 extra dollars. I am very angry at this point and call and after 20 minuted hold time to get a person and 15 minuted put on hold after customer service rep answered and finally getting the snotty customer service rep and getting her to get me a supervisor, was told that she showed it was shipped "yesterday"(4 days after the other person had talked to the vendor and told me it was shipping that day) yet ANOTHER lie and delay. Also was told it is not their fault my account bounced I should know how to keep up with my checking account-well it is their fault they charged the wrong amount and I am on tight budget and had enough for the 50% amount not whole amount which they charged. She told me she would give me a credit to my account for the 50% off I was supposed to get but that it could take up to 2-3 weeks to show up. Ok so I have to wait again to get money back because they are major screw ups UGH!! Also that they would not reimburse the $25 bank charge because she still claimed that not to be their fault.
I get the product today(a knitted photo afghan-one of the most expensive items in their catalog-hate to know how they treat people who only order small stuff) and it is not clear at all shotty workman ship and the edging that is sewn on around it is not sewed well there are spots that looks like they completly missed sewing, it is coming apart already right out of the box.
Needless to say I have been burnt bad by this company and I will not EVER order from them again, and I suggest that anyone else thinking of ordering from them to give it a hard second thought. 9 weeks of H*ll waiting for a Christmas gift that should have been to me long ago, and putting up with the rudest customer service department I have EVER dealt with just to get shotty product is toooooo much for me to bear.
