Yeow! I struck pay dirt. Now, while I admit that I'm an impulse buyer, sometimes that's not bad. Take, for instance, walking through Wal-Mart and seeing a display of white trigger bottles filled with a pretty pink liquid. It caught my eye.
It's an especially attractive bottle, sporting a darling COW on the front and the words ,Holy Cow® All Purpose Cleaner.
I read the bottle and saw that it's a powerful degreaser for (and I quote the bottle)carpets, furniture, laundry stains, terrazzo tile and wood floors.
Oh, sure, I thought. It probably smells yucky and hurts your hands! One does get skeptical after having been burned so many times with some inferior products. But it was only $1.74! A price one cannot ignore.
So I purchased the Holy Cow® and was off on an exciting cleaning adventure.

The bottle certainly made it sound not only revolutionary, but slightly unbelievable.
Letting the Holy Cow® out of the Pasture
The best way to test a product is to use it. Well, my stovetop needed cleaning. A good place to start!
You merely spray the Holy Cow® on and wipe it off with a clean rag. My stove is almond-colored and it shone like a jewel after using this product.
It leaves no residue, does not need rinsing, there's no smell that I could detect, nor does it hurt my hands in any way.
For any spots of burned-on grease, I did have to use a little scratcher for best results, but I didn't need to work at it - merely gave it a boost.
What impressed me the most was the way this cleaned the black control panel backboard and the black oven door. So many times, I've thought I'd cleaned them, but when I'd look at them from another angle, I'd see smears and smudges and it was very discouraging.
But with the Holy Cow® the black came out absolutely free of smears or smudges! Amazing, it really was.
As you might expect, this trial run led me into the great race around the house with equally happy results everywhere I tried the Holy Cow®.
It works very well on the shower door, removing the soap scum with minimal effort. It works great on my imitation marble bathroom sink and, also, the porcelain sink and toilet tanks.
I love the way you can use it on wood, such as kitchen cupboards, etc. and the Formica kitchen counters and the light fixtures and even the wall.
In the two months I've had this product, I believe that I've used it on virtually everything in the house. I keep a bottle in the laundry room, one in each bathroom, and, of course, one in the kitchen.
My husband even took a bottle for his own, using it in his workroom. He even tackled some spots on the carpet which the dog had made, and had marvelous results.
Did I tell you that I returned to Wal-Mart and bought FIVE more bottles of the Holy Cow®? Well, I did, that's how much I love it.
I saw it advertised on the Internet at a much higher price than Wal-Mart was asking and I realized what a bargain this was!
A Little More about this Cow.
It doesn't clean grease-laden tools, nor does it say it will.
It works pretty well on glass tabletops and the glass doors on the entertainment center, but it does NOT DO MIRRORS. I've used better products on windows, too, so this product does have its limitations, though very few.
I've used ¼ cup in my washing machine (as the manufacturer suggested) and the colors come out brighter and the whites seem whiter. Fantastic.
It does a great job on appliances like toasters, toaster ovens, refrigerators, can openers, etc. So easy to just spray and wipe them to make them sparkle.
Holy Cow®! Buy Some!
I highly recommend this wonderful product. Just put a bell around its neck and lead this cow around the house to help you in your chores. And I haven't heard it moo yet!
Remember, odorless, chemical free, biodegradable, easy to use, no streaking - what's to not like about it?
