Pros: Cute phones.
Cons: Phones don't work (Motorola especially). Customer service WILL NOT HELP YOU! EVER!
The Bottom Line: Do NOT buy SunCom. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and they will over charge you every month.

I bought a SunCom plan two and a half years ago. I tried to add my fiance to the plan, and they promised me I would only be paying for an extra line. However, when my bills came, they were charging me like I had bought a whole separate plan. When I finally got that taken care of, they refused to reimburse me for the extra I had payed while they were overcharging me. Like others have said, the contracts are impossible to get out of, no matter how short your contract was; they will still charge you $200.
Worst of all, their online bill pay stopped working, and it kept saying my payments were rejected, even though I had just checked my bank balance before paying. Then when they charged me for a "returned check fee" (even though all my bank statements showed sufficient funds), then said it was my responsibility to prove to them that I had the money and would have to send them my bank statements! This started about an 9-10 month period where I was overcharged EVERY month for something. They NEVER had my billing right.
DO NOT buy from SunCom; you will regret it and they will not help you. It's like selling your soul to the devil.
