The Bottom Line: Experience Ask Me Inn once and I guarantee you'll want to visit again and again. It truly is a home away from home.

Being someone who generally leans more toward a large beach-front resort, I was a little hesitant when my husband surprised me with a little three day birthday getaway at the Ask Me Inn. I'm happy to say I could not have been more wrong about this place! We pulled up in the taxi, and it is by far the prettiest little inn in the area. We must've missed that check-in wasn't until 2 pm, because we arrived a little early. But Scarlett checked us in anyway which was SO convenient considering we had no where else to go with our luggage. Not something you'd ever find in any hotel! Our room was absolutely beautiful, homey, and SPOTLESS! There is no smoking in Scarlett's rooms, which was quite alright with me because I got to spend more time sitting peacefully on the balcony and admiring the rest of the property. One of the best things about the Ask Me Inn is the location. We were still within walking distance to all of the excitement, but enjoyed plenty of peacefulness back at the Inn. Lastly, Desilia was amazing! Rarely do you find a maid who cleans your room with the TLC that she does. Not only did she do the basics (clean towels, make the bed, etc), but she took the time to hang up some of my clothes, put my shoes in the closet, etc. That has never happened to me before!
All in all, this was the best birthday I've had in a long time. We already plan on returning to the Ask Me Inn later in the year and have already started recommending it to our couple friends because it is THE best place to be if you are looking for a romantic getaway. Thanks for a wonderful weekend Scarlett! We look forward to seeing you again!!
