While comparing my previous years work to the "epinions" I have written recently, I am appalled. It’s amazing that my work the first year at Epinions.com is much better. Now, the reasoning could be one of two. Number one, my absence has caused my writing to deplete and I now suck. Or number two, I just always sucked and I never realized it. This is an epinion about Developing an Epinions Personality I’m just introducing you to mine. I’m not too optimistic, but I’m not pessimistic. If I were to chose one, I would probably be a pessimist. Although, I chose to look on the bad sides, I usually write good opinions. I rarely find a product horrible or sinister. I might write a bad opinion on AOL because whenever I try to write this opinion, AOL messes it up and deletes it. This might be my 3rd try, and hopefully last. I’m putting a lot of work into it and I’m pretty confident you’ll enjoy reading it. Through this epinion, my goals are to explain thoroughly what you should and shouldn’t do. I will also explain what I thought my "fake" personality would get me and didn’t. It will also explain what I want to get out of Epinions. So have fun and rate how you feel. Hello World, THIS IS ME! I’ve been here at Epinions.com over a year now. Yes, I love it here, that’s why I’m staying here this long. I’ve realized that you can’t write a crappy opinion and get away with it. It’s like trying to get away with murder. I’ve been away from Epinions for a long time, visiting just to get my check. (I know, I sound like an evil girl!) I’m being Honest. A good quality you should have. Just say what you are feeling. I know I was not honest back then. Even now sometimes! It’s hard when you want to write a review a certain way. But all reviews don’t have to be in an exact pattern every time. Speaking of Honesty, right now, I’m feeling horrible. The UNPOPULAR writer should. We spend so much time writing one epinion (or anything) and all it earns us is maybe $0.15. That makes me so angry because some POPULAR writers take two minutes out of their time and BAM! $50 right there. Maybe I am exaggerating, but it’s true. For this epinion, so far, I’ve edited so much! This is probably the epinion most to my heart and took the most time. Also, another point that you should do at epinions is to stay focused! Unfortunately, I didn’t. I lost touch with epinions and then I was "dead" per say. I was a Most Popular Writer in Beauty then I lost touch with Epinions. I thought I was all that and a bag of chips. I thought that I was at the peak of my writing career… well I was. From then on everything went downhill. So don’t ever lose touch! Always, always stay focused! DON’T just write for the hell of it. You need passion and then you’ll definitely earn your moneys worth. Some people write epinions with the same word repeatedly. That’s a no no. Once, I wrote less than 100 words so I just B.S.ed my way through the rest of it. That’s not healthy. When I first came to Epinions, I put out a "fake" me because I didn’t want to get too involved. Therefore leading to my worse work. It’s better to write how YOU yourself feel, not what anyone else wants you to feel. Having a fake personality is not the right way to go. We’re at the bottom of my goal list and this is the part where I expect my personality to take it. Now, my epinions personality is just the same as my real personality. In effect, I hope to accomplish some goals. (I know, your saying, there she goes with her goals again…) My first goal is to earn some money for a lab top. (A little selfish, but hey…) My next goal is to write the best and edit like I’m doing now. My final goal is to never delete an epinion again. I must have deleted at least ten horrible epinions. But you learn from your previous writings so I don’t believe you should delete anything! In conclusion, I hope you enjoyed reading my work. This is the first time, in a long time, I actually enjoyed typing it. ;).  |
