Is NET-ZERO My NET-HERO? Not A Chance But Close - Netzero ISP - Your Best Choice When Stuck With Dial-up & Not That High-end Fast Connection
by shippo225 | Mar 22 '05
Pros: Gives me more satisfaction than I ever got from AOL, Compuserve or People PC. A great deal at ten bucks. Great when you're stuck with the dreaded dial-up
Cons: The log-on on box has a tendency to remain on the screen after logging on. Slow  speeds(5Kbs mostly). It leaves a permanent button on the taskbar while connected

Trust me, I've had these issues, but fixed them myself. My computer ended up being formatted (something I do anually regargless). Overall, I'd rather deal with it than put up with AOL again.

Thanks for reading!

Be careful. I signed up and downloaded NetZero. I had problems with the download and called technical. Of course, they give you steps to take to correct it, right? Crashed my computer and to top it off they made me pay for the technical support. I never even used the web and went without a computer for 5 months because of what they did. Really annoyed me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Just watch your pocket. Thanks.
