Casual Corner Online: Classy and Classic Career and Casual Clothes for Ladies

I recently relocated to a new area and have found myself back in the job market once again. As an educator, I want to present the most polished and presentable image of myself to potential employers without spending a fortune. I also want to find clothes that I feel comfortable wearing outside of the workplace as well.
I am still relatively young, and I have found that many stores offering career wear and casual wear for ladies often cater to a more buttoned down crowd. Many of the styles are stiff and uptight in appearance…even somewhat matronly. I cannot imagine myself wearing these styles to work, let alone outside of it.
I want clothes that are both professional and stylish at the same time. I prefer styles that are classic instead of overly trendy. I am a petite individual, and I am also looking for clothes which are figure flattering. I do not want to appear as though I am drowning in yards of baggy material
I hate being stuck in traffic and dealing with crowds when I go out to shop. Where in the world would I possibly find clothes that meet my demands? Clothes that I can wear with confidence in or out of the workplace? Casual Corner Online, of course!
Site Setup:
Casual Corner Online is an excellent site. The setup is simple, and extremely easy to navigate. I have used the site several times lately with no problems or glitches.
There are no fancy buttons or flashy logos on Casual Corner Online. The site is clean and elegant, much like the classic clothing you will find online or at their brick and mortar stores.
Everything on the site is clearly laid out in a fashion that makes the site very easy to use.
Across the very top of the site you will find four important links. These are labeled “Sign In”, “Register”, “My Account”, and “Customer Service”.
Below the links above you will find two search boxes which make it easy to find an item for which you are looking. You can choose to shop by category (such as suits, casual, etc.) or by item number.
The categories clothing items and accessories are clearly labeled below the search boxes. There are eight different categories from which you can select to shop. When you move your cursor over each category, there is a drop down telling you what you will find in each one. It cannot get much simpler than that! What are the categories and what might you find in each one? Let’s explore!
Categories: So Many to Choose From!
Career: Here you will find great work appropriate clothes. You can select from sweaters and knits, tops and tees, blouses and skirts, jackets and vests, pants and skirts…and more! You will find clothes that are comfortable, stylish, and classic in this category. These clothes are perfect for the professional woman! The classic styles here are sure to last for years to come!
Casual: Here you can select from the same categories as those in the career wear section (such as sweaters and knits, etc.), but the clothes are a little less tailored. They are more laid back. You will find perfect weekend or going out clothes in the casual section. This is the category I shop from the most. I absolutely love the sweaters offered in this section, and I have ordered several.
Suits: If it is a suit you are looking for, you will find it here. You can shop for a matching suit or select from separates such as jackets, pants, and skirts. Again, this section is perfect for the professional woman. I have some separates from this section, and they are very well made. They hold up for years to come, and never go out of style. Basic colors are offered, such as navy, black and white. You can also find other seasonal color selections.
Collectibles: In collectibles you will find a classic selection of jackets, pants and skirts in classic office, comfort, and wool knits. They are made to last and mix and match. These are timeless pieces that you can hold onto. Selections in this section change periodically.
Accessories: If you are looking for accessories to complete your polished look, they can be found here. You will find handbags, ponchos, scarves, and more in this section.
Shoes: Here you can select from categories such as career and dress, Italian made, Casual, and boots. All the shoes appear to be very well made, and most of what is carried is leather. You can find shoes here to match any outfit.
Jewelry: Select from brooches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, sterling and more! You will find a good selection of classic costume and sterling silver jewelry in this section.
Collections: Not to be confused with collectibles, this section offers interchangeable clothing pieces in collections with lovely names such as “Jolie Paris” and “Resort”. Offerings are seasonal and can be found in lovely colors.
Registering:
In order to make your online shopping experience easier, you may register with Casual Corner Online. All you need to do is click on the register link at the top and fill in information such as your full name address, and email address. You will also need to create a password. You can register for Casual Corner or Petite Sophisticate (a sister store) here. Registering allows you use of an online address book, saves your order history, and allows you to receive notice about special promotions! I really love receiving emails and cards in the mail to save an extra percent off of a purchase!
Registering is optional, but it is a great idea. Upon future visits, you just simply sign in to your account. You can view your account status online.
Checking Out:
I have found that checking out at Casual Corner Online is easy. The site is secure, and I have had no problems with my orders going through. I have had no problems with orders being doubled, as is sometimes the problem on other sites. They accept all major credit cards, as well as their own card, called the Privileges Card.
The Privileges Card entitles its holder to a five percent discount every time, as well as special promotional discounts. The rate is high, like many other store cards, but I usually use it to get the discount and pay it off right away.
It is easy to use coupon codes at checkout. I recently had a birthday coupon for ten dollars off, and I used it with ease at checkout. I got a sweater for only $14.95 after my privileges and birthday discount! That includes my shipping and handling!
Shipping and Handling Costs:
The shipping and handling costs are not unreasonable. I believe I recently paid only $4.99 or so in S&H for the sweater I ordered. On larger orders the shipping is usually reasonable as well. I believe it is calculated by the cost of the order, but I am not sure.
Prices:
Casual Corner Online can be a bit pricey if you pay full price, but it seems like there is always a sale. Suits and items in the collections are the most expensive items usually averaging about $79.00 and up per piece. The sweaters and other items can be expensive when not on sale. During sales items can be found for as low as $19.99 (and even lower!). If you have a coupon or a privileges card you can save a bundle!
Customer Service:
I have had no dealings with customer service, as I have been fully satisfied with my experience at Casual Corner. There is a link for Customer Service and they may be contacted via email or by phone. I am sure the service is excellent, as I have always been treated well in the brick and mortar stores.
Returns:
I have not had to return any items from my online purchase, and I have been most pleased with the quality. Casual Corner Online does make returns easy, however, buy leaving the store price tags on the clothes. You can return the items at the brick and mortar stores for a refund or exchange, or you may send them back. I would not want to pay shipping costs, so I would probably choose to return them to the store.
My Experience:
My experience with Casual Corner Online has been a pleasant one. I am terribly happy with the clothing items I have ordered, and I have received numerous complements on them.
The sweater I purchased recently is a cowl necked sweater in a marled turquoise yarn, and it is beautiful. It is soft, soft, soft! The price was exceptional, even without my discount. My only regret is that I only ordered one sweater and not other colors!
Before moving, I taught middle school art. I had an outfit from Casual Corner Online that I wore during spirit week on what was called “Dress to Impress” day. The outfit was so cute and classy. The students said things like “Wow, Miss L, you are the only teacher that knows how to dress!” Now that is a compliment…especially from middle school kids who often love to berate!
I feel polished and classy when I am wearing clothes from Casual Corner Online. The site makes it easy to purchase a matching outfit for those of us who are challenged!
I love Casual Corner Online and I would recommend it to any lady looking for great work and casual outfits!

Across the bottom of the site you can find links to information about the Privileges Card, Gift Card, About Us (about Casual Corner), and a Store Locator. You can also join the email list in order to receive alerts about sales, etc. There is a 1-800 number for Casual Corner if you would feel more comfortable speaking with a human being.
