Frustrating

They do not back up there products! I have bought quite a bit from HSN, and have finally decided I have had it. There customer service leaves alot to be desired, and there 30 day return policy is very unfair, especially on their jewelry. Examples are: Once I bought one of the Victoria Weick 14k bracelets on sale for 300.00. I made 4-5 monthly payments on it. I only wore it about 5 times, was not something you would wear every day. One night I went to put it on for a function, realized one of the stones had fallen out. I had made the last payment on it several days earlier, but called to tell them. They did not care how much I paid for it, how little I had worn it, it was my problem. I was told I had 30 days from date of purchase. I asked them what if it had fallen out after 60 days, and I still had 3 more payments to make, would they have replaced it? Get this. NO! I would have had to continue to make payments, and keep the bracelet with the missing stone. I then sent a letter to Victoria Weick, asking her to please do something, never heard from her. Of course I sent it to her at HSN. I might also mention back when I bought this bracelet there was no warranty to be bought like they do now. I bought a wool rug, supposedly worth 900.00, it shed profusely. I called them. Noone could give me any info on this rug. And told me I would have to ship it back. Do you know the shipping on a 8-10 heavy duty wool rug? It was defective, but they would not pick it up. I have had the rug since Oct. 04, and to this day it still sheds profusely. I have given this company chance after chance, bought and bought, and now I have decided after another bad experience recently, that I am through with them. I have 1 last item I am waiting on, because I had to buy one more thing due to their "kash kredit" instead of refunds on returned items. You either buy something else by a certain date or lose the whole credit. Never heard of such a thing. I do alot of online shopping, and qvc and shop at home tv and shopnbc are nothing like HSN. They back there products, even after 30 days, and are very courteous.
