Pros:Home phone and wireless on one bill
Cons: more expensive than Voicestream and not very good pricing plans for your money
The Bottom Line: They should stick to land lines I was used to being disappointed with that service! Until they make it better stay away!

Where do I even begin...First of all I live in the Eugene and Springfield area in Oregon.
In January I received a phone call. I was asked if I was interested in becoming a Qwest wireless user. The deal sounded great. Plus, I could get a phone for one cent, because I was already using call waiting on my home phone. It all started out very well. I got the phone call on Tuesday and received the phone on that Friday. They told me that it worked right out of the box. Turn it on and start yapping! My phone had problem! I could not, for the life of me, and thank god I never had to...make an outgoing call! I kept calling an telling a different person, two to three times a week my problem. I kept getting referral numbers, that apparently made not one bit of difference whatsoever. Because each time I called the new person had no clue what I was talking about. So then I would have to repeat it over and over. On top of it all, I had believed that they had sent my information down to the maintenance or problem department and was told that within 10 working days SOMEONE there would figure it out and give me a call. No one ever called. By then, my 30 day free trail was over and if I canceled they would charge me 100 dollar cancellation fee.
I was pretty mad to say the least. Finally , I insisted that they send me a new phone for the hundredth time, immediately! I had asked them many times if it may be the phone that was the problem. Because I never had any problem with my other cell phone, through Voicestream. Still they acted as if I had never used a cell phone before. I have to say that I was treated like I was stupid! Anyway, they sent me a new phone, and as I suspected, it worked. But then, my first bill was outrageous! They charged me every time I tried to call someone at their request, while they were trying to figure out what was wrong. Then I was being charged for my circle calls, which were suppose to be free. I also had to pay for a month and a half of usage before hand, which I agreed to do from the start as part of the deal. But, I had assumed when I made that deal that my phone would work the whole time. They credited me 40 dollars, for all that trouble. And now I am in for a whole year, unless I want to pay 100 dollars to terminate it. Since then, Every phone bill I get seems to have problems and I feel like a nuisance every time I complain. I have a $49.99 two cell phone family plan, every month, with all the hidden fees and occasionally going over our pricing plan, that, by my calculation usually is ten dollars or less. Because we mainly call in our circle. Which is cell to cell, home to cell and cell to home. I pay any where from 60-75 dollars a month for this! All I really want to know is where was my free trial month!?
