The water filter unit we purchased from Bestfilters.com started to leak after 11 months of use. The housing unit was plastic and when we tried to remove the filter the plastic nut stripped making it impossible to remove the filter. I emailed Bestfilters.com on a Saturday and received a reply on Monday. They said they would send a new housing replacement unit and that it was their policy to extend the manufacturer's 100 day warranty to one full year. They shipped the replacement unit the same day. Great service, great warranty, great company to do business with.
