I think one of the best things about this "portable keyboard" is the fact that I can use this whenever I want to. I don't have to be limited to one room or one space. I'm free to think and expand my workspace.
Waiting for my other family members to finish their time on the computer no longer exists. I do not have to limit my time or others by having only one computer in the house.
We did consider buying another computer, but with computers going in and out of style so fast, that was a major reason why we bought a Alphasmart 3000. I personally did not want to buy a new computer every couple of years costing me thousands of dollars.
Most of the time our computer was only used for word processing and the internet. It was a waste of money to not be using the computer to it's full potential. So that is when the Alphasmart 3000 came into our lives.
The Alphasmart 3000 is basically a word processing machine of its own. It can basically do everything a computer's word processer can do. You type your report or essay on it and simply transfer it on to your computer, which is a snap.
For the price of only 200 dollars, our family got a word processer and more time to use our computer for internet use. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on another computer which would just have to be replaced by another computer. Your free to roam your house and the world with Alphasmart 3000.
