Crushing ice for alcoholic refreshments and making baby food... I have my priorities! Ha.
I was just researching online this new "as seen on TV" magic bullet blender... I like that it has small blending containers and covers for storage (good for baby food) but I'm, as usual, weary of new gadgets...

I use ice from from the automatic ice maker so I'm not sure how it will do with thicker ice. The blender has a "high performance ice crusher blade" and a speed designated for ice. I don't make baby food anymore but I would have loved to have had the food processor attachment when I was making it because it's perfect for small portions and much easier to clean than the blender is. at the moment... something that can crush ice and I can use to make baby food. So this review was very helpful! I do have one question: when you use ice in it, is it ice cubes from a tray or bagged ice or ice made automatically by your freezer? I use tray ice cubes and those are the biggest and most difficult to crush in any but the most professional blenders... that's why I'm asking. Thanks, -Naomi
