First off some readers may not know what an emulator is or what it is used for. Well an emulator is a program that is designed to emulate, (run) programs that were originally designed for consols (nintendo), on the computer. As you may be wondering, this software is already developed and is being used by many people. Emulators are free software that can be downloaded from several sites. I would recommend http://vimm.net as a good place to start. You can find the emulators here, as well as almost any nintendo or super nintendo game ever made. Another sire you may want to try is http://snes9x.com. For those who need more information, I will carry on, otherwise you have the information needed to start your computer gaming life anew. I prefer ZNES as my emulation program. It is perhaps used less than the snes9x program, but I find it was easier to set up and I did not stray from the same site to find games for it. With supernintendo games only a few hundred Kilobytes when zipped, you can easily download all the games you want in a short amount of time. ADDITIONAL FEATURES: The ZNES also has an INTERNET play option. THATS RIGHT!!! you can play some super nintendo games on the internet with one of these emulators, something that couldnt even be done with the original consol. CONFIG CONTROLS: You may also configure the controls however you like with the emu's. You simply hit the ESC key to enter the menu and you can configure the controls from there. The ZNES and SNES9x are both good emulators for the super nintendo, and if you are into old school nintendo games you can download the nintendo emulator from vimm's site as well.
