Pros:TV output and all-in-one feature.
Cons:Strange keyboard layout, eraser head mouse.
The Bottom Line: It's a DVD player, CD stereo player and computer in one!
First, the laptop looks very nice and has all device built in. It's easy to use and so far it has been problem free.
This laptop have many good features!
1. It not only plays DVD, you can hook up to your TV.
2. You can play music CDs without having to turn on the laptop.
3. The HD can be removed with just removing one screw on the bottom, making upgrade a snap!
The things I don't like is the typical Toshiba keyboard layout. The WINDOWS key is located on the top right corner and the mouse buttons are designed top and bottom, not side by side. This can be confusing at first because we normally understand the terms 'left click' and 'right click', not 'top click' and 'bottom click'. Another typical Toshiba (IBM too) design is the eraser head pointing device. It's very hard to get used to because the speed is hard to control.
The CPU and memory is adequate and storage is plenty. The 64MB is built-in but it has an extra slot for up to 128MB. The slot is located under the keyboard so installing more memory can be a hassle. Although this laptop seems think in size, it's not that heavy at all. It fits in my Targus bag perfectly.
Overall, it's a very nice looking and reliable laptop.
