Lesson learned? Cheap isn't worth it if it SUCKS!

MISLEADING COVERAGE
I just canceled my contract after being lied to for 2 years. I signed up because I wanted to combine phone & pager, only to discover that they have NO coverage near Milpitas. It turns out I wasn't the only one - they have lots of "holes" all over the bay area. For 2 years they told me an antenna was being installed, but I got tired of their lies and switched to ATT.

LOUSY SERVICE
If you lose or break your phone you will discover that the local store can't help you. You have to travel to one of the main PacBell offices and wait in line for hours only to be told they are out of stock or it will take 6-8 weeks to repair (with NO loaner, but you still have to pay your bill!). Don't bother trying to call ahead because they're too busy to bother answering.
