Pros: Phone lasted for 20 months without problem.
Cons: Phone overheats when in use, died after 20 months of use
The Bottom Line: I wouldnt buy it, unless you get insurance, because its likely to break.

This phone worked fine for me the whole time I used it. Sometimes it would get kinda hot while I was talking, but no major complaints really. The phone lasted for about 20 months, and then on Christmas Day, I was trying to call my brother, and it died. I was talking to him when the reception got bad. The sound started to sound fuzzy, like snow on a tv. I told him I would call him back later when the reception would be better (i assumed i had a bad signal). The next thing I knew the screen said "Downloading mode" and thats it. Turn it off, and back on, take out the battery, whatever. It said "downloading mode". I didnt have insurance on the phone so i was out of luck. I read a review of the phone somewhere that described this same problem. By accident, the reviewer left his phone in the car overnight, and he lived in a place with freezing temperatures. When he checked his phone the next morning, it seemed to be working fine. But as soon as the phone went back to normal temperatures, it went back to downloading mode. The guy suggests to stick the phone in the freezer if it goes into "downloading mode", and at the very least, you can rescue all of the telephone numbers off of it. I tried this and it works. So if it dies on you and you need to rescue your phone book, put it in the freezer for an hour or two.
