I placed a subscription renewal for a magazine with Mags on the Net back in June 2004. My subscription has since run out and I still, as of this day (3/21/2005) have not received one copy of my magazine. I called them in December, when I didn't receive my magazine, they said the publisher told them they hadn't received my order along with some other orders and I should receive my subscription after 12 weeks and they were not allowed to call the publisher before 8 weeks to find out about the order. So I should call them back in 8 weeks. Well here it is past the 8 week mark and I called... Well, they tell me, your order is going to be put through as a new subscription, since the old one ran out, (no thanks to them) and it won't be starting until 12 weeks from the date the subscription was placed back in December. BUT the magazine only has 10 issues a year so you won't be getting your first copy until MAY! That is 11 months, almost 1 year to-the-day that I placed the renewal with them.
It is very frustrating, I wish I would have just ordered directly with the publisher. Mags on the Net also offered me a free subscription to another magazine and here's the kicker, it hasn't begun yet either. I have been extremely patient but I think I have reached the end of my rope. If you order with them, just know that you have been forewarned.
