Crazy College Stories Part VIJul 03 '01 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line College is what you make of it. Get involved and stay involved. It should be some of the best and most memorable years of your life. Geez, the time just flies by. Another semester is over (finally) and it is time to look back and reflect on what happened while I wasn't busy studying or in class. For those of you that would like to just skip to the pictures and a few movies here and there, just go straight to my web site www.kettering.edu/~groe6442 and check them out. And for those loyal Crazy College Stories fans out there, here it is in my own words. Well I started the semester off with one goal in mind, get a 93 or better average for this term. I've done it two or three times before so it was a realistic goal. Everything went pretty well in all of my classes except Matrix Algebra. Prof. Drulin' John Dulin is the WORST prof I have ever had. He cannot talk or write properly, and he is a terribly harsh grader and test writer. To make a long story short, I ended up with a 90 average with the 76 I got in that class. So I would have done it if it wasn't for that class. OK enough with the grades. Lets get to the parties. Theta Xi Hawaiian Party 2001 This is one of the better parties that takes place once a year at Kettering University. Everyone wears hawaiian stuff and there is a waterfall coming off the roof of the frat house that falls into a makeshift pool. People usually end up in the pool before the night is over, sometimes willingly, sometimes not. Parties at Kettering are as fun as they can be. I mean there are only 700-800 students there at one time and after you get to your senior year you pretty much know everyone at the school, kinda like high school. There are always a few people that attend Kettering parties that don't go to Kettering. U of M Flint and Mott College students sometimes stray from their campuses to attend our shindigs. My brother ended up being one of the people tossed into the pool, along with his friend. There are pictures of that on the web site. Only one party?!? No there were more but I am at a public library right now and I don't want to take too long. There is this old man staring me down as I type, he wants to get on his favorite XXX site before Jeopardy comes on. So check out the web site, sign the guestbook, and have fun. Until Next Time  |
