Alas, This Humidity-Fighter is Extinct!

Pros: Ideal for curly and frizzy hair. Fights humidity. Not a hair out of place.
Cons: Hair would feel dried out to the touch, but pros made up for it.
The Bottom Line: Revive this product -- why discontinue something that worked so wonderfully to control frizzy hair?

Alas, Origins Take Control Styling Gel was (is) a wonderful humidity-fighting hair care product, but alas, it is now extinct!
This product was my assurance that I would not have little frizzy curly hairs poking out, particularly on extremely humid days. I also relied on it for when I wanted to have the slicked-back, wet look -- yet never with stickiness!
The only drawback would be that when my hair dried, it would feel very dry, almost crunchy, but I didn't care -- because my hair stayed in place, and had shine! This was always helpful for certain occasions -- for example, wearing my hair in a ponytail, and also, for evening, going out to dance lessons or dance socials and needing to slick my hair back. Now, I didn't use this product every day, maybe only a few times a month.
So when it was time to buy another tube, I went to an Origins flagship store in Manhattan, and I was nearly embarrassed by the store help when they told me that it had been discontinued for nearly a year! What?! I called up Macy's department store, and someone in the Origins department told me the same thing.
Maybe Origins could revive the product at some point -- because I'm disappointed it's now not on the market.
