Good review.. (Reply to this comment)

Have flown Air Tahiti Nui...in cheap seats, and it seemed alsmost as cramped as Delta or some of Delta's flights...with the ever expanding American weitht, less seat is more troubles!

When we were in Tahiti just a few years back the small airport was chaotic...like the one in
Cancun...chaos .. was it bad?

know how to travel...:) And I know what you mean, once you've been in Business class seating it's hard to go back to the back..LOL

This truly does sound like a great airline..and perfect for the kind of trip you just took.

Great reading as always Claudia,
Cheers

I had trouble sleeping just coming back from Hawaii and of course in the cheap seats. :-) Loved this review and now waiting for the review on New Zealand.

undoubtedly one of the finest airline reviews I have ever read at Epinions! Good for you for upgrading, even at the high price. Claudia, you need to plan better and save those miles for trips like this.

I just love arm chair traveling with you!
My best,
Deb~

About those seating assignments (Reply to this comment)
by travelshark
People traveling with small children should be very careful about the seat assignment issue. Planes may arrive in LA pretty full (from Paris) and it may be very difficult (if not impossible) to get a block of seats. We were traveling with a 5 year-old and a 3 year-old few years back and even though we went to the counter very early and asked them to seat us together, we ended up with a 2+1+1 seating where none of the single seats were anywhere close to the double seat or the other single seat. Pretty impossible situation for a family we two pre-schoolers. None of the people near us were willing to switch (who want to break a a "pair" on a trip to Tahiti) and flight attendants were reluctant to help...

I've always thought Tahiti Nui had the prettiest planes in the sky- it's good to hear they're just as fantastic inside as well.
