Where are the seller confessions? (Reply to this comment)

The piece seems mostly about buying--and buying from the megalith rather than its associated sellers.

I'm fine with them taking $.99 per sale plus 15% (including 15% of the $.99 they've already taken). What irks me is the covert seizure of the other $1.23--charging $3.49 for the shipping and handling that they do NOT do and crediting the seller $2.26.

I really enjoy the user friendly service from Amazon.com, but I have noticed lately, within the last 6 months, that their response time has gotten a lot slower. I used to be able to receive my order within a few days, and now it is taking weeks. That is frustrating, but they still have the best selection and some of the best prices anywhere on-line, so I will continue to order from them. Sheila

reviews I have read on Amazon Marketplace even better than my own. :-) You covered everything and explained it exactly right. I have used Amazon Marketplace to sell many books over $500.00 worth when I was ready to move to Texas.

I did have a problem when I wanted to buy a used digital camera, the seller did not have the item and Amazon helped get my money returned. This is a great service and you explained it to a T.

a whole bunch of books before I donated them to see what would happen. Well, so far I sold $35 worth of books on Amazon Marketplace - I am impressed. A couple I never thought would move.

It is a great place for the books. I haven't tried anything else yet.
