Pros:Nice front desk staff
Cons:no directions to restaurants, and clubs. smelly bathrooms, and dim lights
The Bottom Line: If you just plan on lookin for a cheap place to sleep and then take off, its perfect.
I have been to vegas 3 times already and usually stayed at the Stratosphere, which is worth every penny. I was hoping the Palace station would be the same. From the get go i was dissappointed because i was given a room located outside the actual building. So i had to walk into the hotel and then back outside and then back inside to get to my room. The first room i was given was really rank and the lights were so dim in the room that you could barely see. To make matters worse our room was located right next to the trash dispenser. After pleading with the front desk man, he gave me another room, still not in the tower rooms, but a little better. The room was cleaner but it still kind of smelled..and the lights were still dimmed. I dont understand why the electricity is 5 dollars a day when it seems as though its barely making it to the room. Me and my friends headed to the complimentary show of Laugh Trax, spent almost 30 minutes searching for it , becuase there was no signs pointing to where it was. Many employees lead us the wrong way. When we finally made it to the comedy club, the host didn't let us in because she didn't know how to read a Washington ID.....what type of tourist attraction only knows a few states...I was angry and left the club.
