I shop a lot online and I must say Newegg is the strictest online seller Ive ever encountered! I understand they wanna protect buyers from credit card theft BUT that is why credit card companies have no-liability assurance against such. With their overly cautious ordering policy, they give up on MORE IMPORTANT customer service such as fast service and shipping. They take 24-48 hours to verify your credit card by calling the company, then call you to verify your order. Then, its another 24-48 hours before your item finally leave their office. If you want you order to be processed quicker, they offer $2.99 fee. Ridiculous! Dont they have computers that are linked to systems? And I thought this is an online business. You cannot even ship it to another address other than the credit card billing address. What if its a gift or you want it shipped to your office coz you are there to sign up the delivery? Yes, some of the prices are competitive but if you have to spend more time waiting for your item, i think its worth spending a little bit more with other sellers. Return/exchange policy is ridiculous too. Almost like they do not want to accept returns because of the exceptions/qualifications they set. Time is money, I just can't afford waiting for orders if they can be shipped the same day, if not within hours from most sellers. Now, that's customer service.

However, please note that our precautionary verification measures are taken for the protections of primarily our valued customers, such as yourself, as well as ourselves.
- Newegg.com can have requested orders shipped to alternate shipping addresses. In order to do this, the requested shipping address, if different from the billing address for the credit card, needs to be on file with your bank/credit provider. If your requested shipping address is different from your billing address, this information can easily be added to your bank/credit file as an alternate shipping address. From that point, we will be able to accommodate your needs. Otherwise, we can always ship your requested order to your billing address.
- Newegg.com does offer a rush processing option for requested orders. When this option is chosen, Newegg will process your requested order in priority along with other rushed orders in chronological order.
