The Bottom Line This site is worth a visit. I really feel like I am harnessing the internet.
The motto of this site is the internet is a sea of money. Harness It. When I first found this site by clicking on a banner ad in animationonline I thought it was going to be a waste of my time, but it has actually saved me time...and money. The site is at www.seaofmoney.com. The site is really a bunch of links to other sites, but what I really like about the site is that they organized them in away that make sit easy to find stuff quick...It gets a little annoying with all these windows popping up, but I have gotten used to just closing one each window if I am done. This website is called Sea Of Money, but not all the sites are directly related to money. There are 12 or so sections, probably more with all the news sections, each with their own theme. There is a Sea Search section that brings together sites useful for finding information on the internet like people, businesses, govt sites, how to section, calculators and even cancellations. There is a savings site which groups great savings information both for online stores and even local stores. The Shopping page is really great. At first I was like why do I need this and then I got used to using it for simplicity. Let me go look at the site and see what else they have on it...Finances, Travel, Sea Desk, Auctions, Kids, Fun & Games (Cool Games like Lunar Lander!!), Earn, and Homestead. There also some news pages which are neat. You can choose news for a particular country or sport. It is pretty extensive. They are constantly adding new sites. They have a feature each week. This week I think is about fraud. There evenis arecall section. I registered for their newsletter which was called Message in a bottle, but I think they have taken it off. I received one newsletter which was great. I think the only way to sign up now may be to contact them or I think you can click on the about us area. Recently a new section abour Click to Give appeared on the corner which had my name on it. I was like how the heck did they get my name. Apparently, they are using a service run by Amazon to collect voluntary contributions. I guess they have to make money somehow. I think they make money on some of their links through affiliate programs. Good for them if they do, because I am getting some value so I hope all these types of sites get something. I ended up clicking on the Click to give link anyways mainly to find out about my name being up there...I ended up giving them $5...oh well...I have saved atleast....$50....in the last month using this one...give a little get a little. I hope the newsletter starts again soon. Even though I only got one, it was great and they get so many new sites added that I want to stay up. PS I just saw they readded the message In a bottle!! ITis also in the popup recommend it window. I do not like that window...it gets annoying...they said they apologize about it and may remove it but it has helped with referrals. Okay so I used it. Sorry. I give this site a thumbs up...or an Aye Matey...  |
