Godsmack - April 13th

The Bottom Line I recommend going to the concert if they are in the area.

I went to the Godsmack concert at Cleveland Ohio on April 13th. Man Oh man did they rule. The stage setup was very cool, and the mosh pit rocked... not many other concerts I have been to have had one as rough as this one. They played nearly every song from both albums. The only song that I noticed that they didn't play was Moon Baby, which is one of my favorites so I was somewhat disappointed that I didn't get to hear it live. G-Smack interacted with the crowd very well, even bringing people up on the stage, and when the Mosh Pit would settle down Sully would get them going again. The only thing I was disappointed with was that they talked way too much and only played for an hour and a half, but they only have two albums out so you can't ask for much longer.

Now onto the opening bands....
Systematic (I think that’s how you spell it) they were the first out there, I only heard there last song, and it was pretty cool. There weren’t many people in the arena at that time so there wasn't much of a pit.

Cold was next and they were absolutely terrible. I took a long bathroom break while they were playing. For the songs I listened to, I couldn't understand a single thing the singer said. Just sounded like a bunch of mumbling into a microphone.

Staind was right before G-Smack and they tore up the place. They played a few songs, and then they played Outside which the females in the crowd completely digged. I preferred the harder stuff though, so I took another break during this song.
