My sweet husband and I have three preschoolers. We were visiting his family for a few days, and we conned them into watching our kids for a night. We wanted a night away...something we haven't done in over 3 years.

I love Jacuzzis, so my husband started calling hotels to see what was available. He found a room at Baymont...a Jacuzzi Master Suite.

When we checked in, the room we were given was an ordinary suite. We went down to the front desk and told them they gave us the wrong room. It ended up costing us $50 more, but it was well worth it.

Now you'll have to remember, we're a middle class family. This was a huge treat to us. We usually stay where it's the cheapest. I'm sure the ritzy hotels are a lot nicer than this, but I wouldn't know. :^)

The room was huge...about the size of two normal rooms. It had a king sized bed, two good-sized closets, a sleeper sofa, a recliner, a coffee table, a desk with chair, two dressers, a TV with Nintendo and on-demand movies (which all cost extra), a sink, a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee pot with coffee, the Jacuzzi, and a very large bathroom. The only drawback was the Jacuzzi was triangular which made it hard to cuddle up.

They had a breakfast buffet that we skipped in order to go to a restaurant, but all-in-all it was a great stay. They were even nice about the fact that they gave us the wrong room. It would have been better if they'd given us a discount though. :^)
