Im not sure whats going on with some of these other people not geting the FTP, WEP and other features to work but I can give you all a tip. You will have to use your brain in order to get this camera to work. If you want me to hold your hand and explain how to make it work right I will or if thats to hard for you, give me a call and ill set it up for you... Now for my full review..
first I have to say that I have read some other user ratings that say that the wireless sucks, they cant keep it connected to there network etc.. First of all the wireless used with my Linksys router is just about flawless... Any wireless connection with any product is not going to be as fast as a WIRED connected product. That's just a fact. Another thing people don't understand is that because this cam produces such high quality images the files are going to be BIGGER than a regular web cam, and the frame rate is going to be SLOWER! Also you need to have a real broadband connection that is at least an upload of at least 512Kb. If you have a DSL or slow cable modem this might not be the product for you. This product has the clearest images I have ever seen in any web/surveillance cam, has an auto shutter and auto slow shutter setting, auto "switch to black and white" that allows this cam to see in almost total darkness, and it has sound capability so you can stream sound as well, it has a privacy mask, motion detection, alarms and a lot more. In fact this product has more features and better picture than any other cam in its price range. I have a strong suspicion that some of the people giving this product a bad rating do not know what there doing, and don't understand the nature of networking, wireless and photography. Ignorance leads to people saying that "this product sucks!" Yes there are gong to be issues with any product out there. There will be defects. Yes there are a few others out there that are cheaper with Pan and tilt, and there pictures are also horrible.
