I reviewed the walnut color a couple days ago because it was lacking any reviews.
I have used the pecan too, and found it to be ok. Like you said, all steps need to be followed.
Since I have stained quite few different types of wood using many different products, and do not think the product is superior re: ease, I probably will not buy the pecan again.
However, compared to the walnut color, the pecan has far fewer application problems.

to Epinions. This sounds like a great do it yourself project. I was curious about clean up. Do you use water or paint thinner for cleaning?
