Great 1st Toddler Bag !!!

Written: Apr 29 '05
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend. Great light-weight roomy transition bag for toddlers. Nice bang for the buck as far as diaper bags go.

I did a ton of research looking for a nice transition bag for my 2 year old. He is STILL not potty trained (uugghh), so we need to carry diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, etc... but I am tired of lugging around the big ole Eddie Bauer backpack. This bag is close to perfect. It is surprisingly light weight to hold so much. It has a wide mouth opening for a clear view of the contents (no more blind fishing for lost things in the bottom of the backpack), adjustable mesh pockets on the inside for storage, and a convenient small zip off bag for a quick mall trip. Both ends of the bag also have mandatory bottle/sippy cup holders. It is made out of a good looking ballistic nylon in a deep blue. At fist I didn't like the velcro handle, but am warming up to the grab and go feature instead of the sling and go that I was used to. It easily holds 8 diapers and still has plenty of room for a change of clothes. The little zip off bag in the front does make it look a bit front heavy... but not too bad. The one thing I don't like is the cell phone holder stuck right on the front of the bag. This is a diaper bag... not a replacement for my purse. I think it looks ridiculously out of place. But that is my only gripe. I chose this bag over my second choice Lands End bags (one was too big, the other too small), and am glad I did. I think it is the perfect size for us. I have only had it a week, and numerous moms have asked where I got such a neat diaper bag.
I ordered it from ebags for $40 with free shipping and got it in 3 days.
