This feature-packed phone does somethings well, especially the ergonomics. Many reviews have outlined the virtues so I will relate the flaws as a caveat emptor. 1. The voice recognition system is absolutely awful. When entering names it prompts demands like "louder," "slower" and then gives up on you after a few tries. So did I. After entering about 4 names I couldn't stand it anymore. I went to the Cingular store thinking my phone was flawed and she said that they were all that way. So, if VOICE DIALING is important to you, DO NOT BUY this phone. 2. Redundant features confusing. You can access features from so many menus that you don't know where you are anymore. Eg. - ability to prolong backlight is available on 3 menus, but only one worked because it depended upon which menu I accessed the that option from. It's confusing just explaining it. 3. Keypad and button functions are not intuitive. A toggle on the joystick is a different function depending on which menu you are in. 4. Phonebook - aaugh. Each line entry requires jumping through so many menus and then backing out to enter next line of information. 5. The manual is practically worthless.
It may be sleek and nice in the hand, but I definitely would not buy this phone again.
