Thanks colleenmf! I was looking through the education section for information for commuter students and found none at all! So I decided to take the matter into my own hands and write something. :)

I also found out that the information Epinions has on the college I'm going to is kind of outdated so expect a review on that sometime soon :)

When there are already 100+ people telling you what to pack if you live in a dorm, I find this to be very informative and useful. It's different. And your title should catch a few people who don't live on campus. I don't think you are off-topic in any way.

NOTE: When I lived in a cold, snowy climate, I always packed a pair of sweats and sneakers in my trunk - just in case. Only had to use it once but it was worth it to carry them around for years. This is good advice for all, not just students.
