My first tennis shoe purchase of the year; a new pair of Nike Quintessential II.
When I tried them on in Foot Locker, a lady walking by stopped and checked them out. She noted how nice they looked, and asked how they felt. (Why do people talk to me for no reason where ever I go? HMMM) Gladly, I told her how excited I was to find such a great fitting pair of shoes. She smiled, wished me luck with them and moved on.
Test run day: *sighs* Getting up early to go out for a run or walk is not, well, it just isn't fun. Usually my feet are pulsating from the beating of slamming them against the cement. But this time they weren't.
I found the Nike's to cradle my feet perfectly and not be so bulky that I felt like I had weights on my feet. I was excited to call my best friend and tell her I finally found a pair of shoes that I don't mind walking in.
"No way!", my friend exclaimed when I called her that afternoon to tell her about my new Nike Quintessential II's. She could not believe that one little ole pair of shoes could stop your feet from the pain of running and walking.
Being the good friend I am, I said, "Get over here and try them yourself." What do you know, there she was lacing up my brand new Nike's. (I offered but didn't think she would come over and put them on?!?!)
Anyways, she bounced around for a while on my kitchen floor, as I busted a gut laughing at her.
(The thought crossed my mind, "Maybe I should lend her my Nike sports bra too, while she is at it.")
After all that she finally agreed these were pretty decent shoes. She thought they had too much height for her and were a little too heavy, which I accept. But other than that, we agreed and moved on to making dinner.
So, I am giving you more than my usual "I loved it." I am giving you, two different people's views.
Although, Nike Quintessential II's aren't for everyone, I think you will appreciate Quintessential II. I know your feet will.
Happy walking & jogging!
