You cannot beat this company for customer service!

So, it's 11:00 at night and my husband goes to "correct" his side of the bed on our Comfortaire Cerulean mattress. (A nightly thing for an anal retentive man like him). The motor clicks, whines and dies. Husband's brilliant idea was to remove the hoses to "check them out" which deflates the entire bed. So now our bed is deflated AND the pump is broken.
In desperation I look up Nationwide to pull up my warranty info, and to my surprise, they are open until 1am EST. I call, fully expecting to be told to call back tomorrow unless I want to order a bed, but to my shock, I am connected with Richard, who kindly tries to help me do a quick fix on the pump until he can get a new, free, pump to me. Mercifully, we had a small air pump that filled the bed. We then plugged the hoses with the rubber plugs that came with the mattress (put these down the side of the mattress as they instruct you to in the assembly instructions; you will not regret it at midnight on a Monday night)! The bed held up fine.
I am waiting for my new pump to arrive, but have faith that Richard and Nationwide will come through for me. I had a copy of the email from Richard to Comfortaire within an hour of calling. Richard was helpful, courteous and a Godsend when I was at my wits end. Thank You!!!
Update - the pump arrived in 3 days, works great and came with easy to follow, prepaid return information for the broken pump.
